2023 Subaru Ascent
What's New for 2023
The 2023 Subaru Ascent has much to offer. However, it doesn’t come with many new features for 2023. The main new upgrade was done to its EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. It now has a wider field view and a father detection range, focusing on cyclists and pedestrians.
Design, Interior, and Exterior Features
This is the largest Subaru SUV ever designed to optimize interior space as well as traction on poor roads with snow, rain, and off-road terrain routes. This car evaluates acceleration, cornering, and braking in real time to regularly deliver power on all four wheels. Power instantly transfers to wheels for better grip.
It has a spacious interior, as we mentioned above, seating up to seven or eight passengers. This makes it a fantastic roomy mobile headquarters for all family adventurers for its high-quality and durable materials, including 19 cup holders to keep everyone's beverage secure.
The exterior got a slight update with stylish accents, including the front gloss black and chrome grille and rear lights. Additionally, its wheels have a new geometric design that gives it a cutting-edge look.
Technology and Security Features
For safety features, it includes blind-spot detection that gives a visual indicator on each side mirror. Then we have a Rear Cross-Traffic Alert system to avoid traffic approaching from the side and when backing up. It also includes a Reverse Automatic Braking system that stops the vehicle to avoid objects behind it. Then we have the Smart Rear-View Mirror that guarantees visibility when the back view is obstructed.
Moreover, with the new and upgraded EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, you get an extra set of eyes on the road. You also get Automatic Emergency Steering to avoid collision with pre-collision braking support and automatic steering that determine when there's space to intervene.
Towing Capacity
The 2023 Ascent has the most extensive towing capacity of any Subaru at a maximum capacity of 2,270kg. An accessory Class three trailer hitch with 277 lb-ft of torque and racking accessories are available. This allows you to bring whatever you want on your wonderful family vacation.
Models and Pricing
The Ascent is available in five trims at different prices that don't include freight, applicable taxes, license registration, levies, or fees. The prices are as follows: Convenience trim starts at $40,995, Touring at $45,495, Oynx at $47,295, Limited at $50,895, and Premier at $53,995.
Infotainment and Comfort
With Gray StarTex upholstery, the cabin offers refined comfort, and it’s durable enough to stand all elements. Communication with all passengers is a breeze thanks to the Cabin Connect system. It allows you to send a message to those sitting in the back row through the rear speakers without ever taking your eyes off the road. Plus, you get a 29.46cm infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for those long family trips.
