Biggest Upgrades From the Previous Year
Since the 2022 model received a significant style upgrade, you won’t find any major upgrades in the 2023 model. The Dark Pearl Blue exterior colour has been exchanged for the Sapphire dark Blue, while the brand also removed the Convenience trim from the lineup. The 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness received a rear bumper rubber step pad.
Interior Layout and Options
The versatile cargo space takes up to 818L with the seats up, but this volume increases to 2,101L with the seats folded. All trims have heated front seats, while the 2023 Subaru Forester Premier and Limited trim also feature heated back seats. From the Touring and up, the driver enjoys a 10-way power seat with lumbar support.
Exterior Layout and Options
The models provide a panoramic sunroof on all trims, with five exterior colours available. From the 2023 Subaru Forester Sport trims and up, the power liftgate will also feature an LED cargo light. While all trims have excellent fog lights, the Wilderness has round LEDs with a hexagonal pattern of six bulbs. The Wilderness trim can also tow up to two times the standard Forester’s towing capacity.

The Base trim features a 6.5-inch infotainment screen, while the 2023 Subaru Forester Touring, Sport, and Wilderness trim all feature an 8.0-inch infotainment screen. The Limited and Premier trims also feature an 8.0-inch infotainment centre, but with navigation included. All systems integrate fully with SUBARU STARLINK, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. All models, except the base, also have a 6.3-inch multi-function colour display of vital information.
