The new generation, rugged Subaru SUV has been revealed in Japan. The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek offers an updated exterior, improved driver-assistance features, and a larger touchscreen. 2024 Latest Changes

 

Crosstrek’s design has been upgraded, marking the start of the subcompact SUV’s third generation. The car boasts several significant upgrades from the previous model. The new Crosstrek features slimmer headlights, a larger front grille, and an increased amount of black plastic cladding around the wheel wells. 

 

Other significant changes include a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a new 2.0-litre engine. As for the driver-assistance features, the optional Eyesight driver-assistance system is included.

Infotainment and Connectivity

 

 

Subaru added several major upgrades to the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. The most significant infotainment upgrade is the 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is standard on the high-tier trim models. The Convenience offers a four-speaker audio system, while the Touring upgrades the audio system to six speakers. 

 

Other outstanding features include USB-A and USB-C ports in the front and the rear. Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity, activated with voice, is available on all four trims.

 

Interior Layout and Options

 

 

The all-new Subaru Crosstrek 2024 offers several pleasant interior features and options. That includes the cargo area light, interior lighting with automatic off delay, and reading lights in front. All of the mentioned features are available on the entire Crosstrek lineup. Interior welcome lighting is standard for models above the Crosstrek Convenience.

 

Exterior Layout and Options

 

 

The 2024 edition of the Crosstrek will be available in eight exterior colours. These exterior options include crystal black silica, crystal white pearl, ice silver metallic, magnetite grey metallic, offshore blue metallic, sun blaze pearl, pure red, and sapphire blue pearl. 

 

LED combination tail lights are standard on all four trims as well as a wiper de-icer. Each of the trims features a spoiler. The Onyx spoiler is gloss black; the other ones are body-coloured.

 

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

 

 

The new Crosstrek is well-equipped with safety and driver-assistance features. That includes an anti-theft system with an engine immobilizer, a keyless entry system with a panic alarm, and a proximity key with a push-button start. Other important features include a rear seat reminder for additional passenger safety, removable and height-adjustable head restraints, and a collapsible steering column.
