Notable Changes from the Previous Model
Subaru made several changes to the sixth-generation Forester. The exterior has been updated with a redesigned front and rear, featuring the brand's typical fuller hexagonal shapes. All 2025 Forester models have a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre Subaru Boxer four-cylinder engine with CVT automatic transmission. The powertrain delivers 180 horsepower and 168 lb-ft of torque and has a fuel efficiency of 9.1 L/100 km in the city and 7.2 L/100 km on highways. All trims also have the SI-DRIVE engine management system to help drive each wheel's exact performance and efficiency.
